“Solar Energy: A Critical Component of Meeting the Clean Energy Challenge”

The Symposium will feature a keynote address from Minh Le, Chief Engineer of DOE’s Solar Energy Technologies Program who will discuss the President’s clean energy challenge and the Department’s $1/W – SunShot Initiative. Key solar companies will have an opportunity to discuss and respond to the challenge, followed by exciting sessions on private industry use of solar energy and its technological frontiers. The afternoon will address the variability challenge facing the grid, and discuss distributed versus centralized solar with transmission.
