Who: Bloomingdale residents and friends – or anyone who wants to volunteer to make a DC neighborhood a bit more beautiful
What: Bloomingdale will be a proud participant in Keep America Beautiful’s annual spring event: the Great American Cleanup. It will include gardening and tree maintenance tutorials featuring Derek Thomas, the gardening expert for our local Fox affiliate, WTTG, and Ward 5 Arborist, Shawn Walker.
When: April 17, 2010, 10AM – 2PM
Where: Meet in the park across the street from Big Bear Cafe (near 1700 1ST ST NW)
